it was dope as hell! i wish i had a proper camera. my dinky little iphone just couldn’t cut it. i met tenille—she’s a very sweet lady + gorgeous too, with huge smile + beautiful energy—and one of her models. i’d say her three offerings were the highlight of the show. bkc’s male models were incredibly handsome… and the clothes were nice too… in that rusty, vintage “when grandpa was a lady killer” sense.
other favorites included ruffeo hearts lil snotty + butch diva, who both have a deep, love of skin tight ensembles in shocking neon and loud busy, patterns. also, pratt grad timothy kuzmeski whose massive, impossible gowns had the models stalking the catwalk like a pair of elephants on glass… they were stunning though.
How was it? Gawd she doesn’t get any less gorgeous, does she?
this weekend is chock FULL of events, it’s almost overwhelming. i won’t get to partake in all of it because of work and an audition tomorrow afternoon *crossing my fingers*
today, i’m heading to brooklyn museum to check out their “day of fashion: brooklyn style” event. i thought about going to the fort greene festival to see common and zap mama and then there’s the afropunk festival happening this weekend—the lineup is bananas—but i do need to get my shit together for tomorrow. so, i must make sacrifices.
